A workplace injury can affect all aspects of your life and those around.  Not only are you managing an injury and working towards recovery, but you’ve also lost the routine, structure, connections, sense of worth and income associated with work. And let’s be honest – the WorkCover system can be complex and difficult to negotiate.  

We explore the presence of possible adjustment to injury issues and set goals of therapy to optimise rehabilitation outcomes. Sessions focus on improving the psychological, social, cognitive, emotional, and behavioural problems you may be experiencing after a work-related incident or injury.

The purpose of the consultation is to identify appropriate interventions/treatments to optimise rehabilitation outcomes.

Consultations will explore:

• The history of the injury
  
• Assessment – including the dynamic and flow-on impact of the injury
• Trauma informed goal orientated outcomes
• Tailored goal setting and treatment planning
  
• Client focused support and advocacy of your recovery goals.
• Reservists with one day continuous full time service or hazardous service.
• Recovery and return to work – barriers, strengths, resources and opportunities
